Launder's EP, Pink Cloud, includes “Keep You Close,” a duet with Soko (video now on Stereogum). Pink Cloud is available on Bandcamp.


The first cut on The Brian Jonestown Massacre's new album, Musique de film imaginé (released 27 April 2015), Philadelphia Story features vocals from Soko. The group says tht the album is a soundtrack for an imaginary French film, and pays homage to great European film directors such as Truffaut and Godard. Listen on Soundcloud.


Modzik Magazine reported that a 5 track EP titled VERDADE (Truth), by Asia Argento and Soko, produced by Antipop & Vicarious Bliss (Andy Gardiner) would be released by Splendid & Nuun Records. There will be video, and there is a teaser on Vimeo.

GIRLS ON FILM (cover - 2014)

The anthology album Making Patterns Rhyme is available on iTunes. Soko's cover of Duran Duran's Girls on Film is track #10. The album, includes 22 songs by many different artists, and proceeds benefit Amnesty International.


The recently released song LOVE LETTER is a major departure from Soko's previous work, was inspired by the French sculptor, painter, and filmmaker Niki De Saint Phalle (1930-2002) and her 1988 book My Love, Where Shall We Make Love?. Art show curator and film director Aaron Rose, (part of the Beautiful Losers art movement) used drawings from the book to create the video for Soko's song. Said Rose, "The way Soko took the feeling of the text in the book and completely transformed it into her own just blew me away." LOVE LETTER is now available on iTunes.


The album is available on iTunes in the US for $10.99, and on Amazon as an MP3 download for $9.49. It can be streamed at (iTunes has a 16th track, FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT.) The track FIRST LOVE NEVER DIE, was released as a single with accompanying video on 30 January, only in Europe.

Couleurs Sur Paris - Nouvelle Vague

Soko sings on the first track of the new GOSPEL MUSIC EP DUETTES. The track is called I MISS THE SHIT OUT OF YOU. Gospel Music is really Owen Holmes and the EP consists of him doing duets with other artists. The EP is available from iTunes for $3.99 in the US.


Soko sings on the track SANDY, SANDY (Track 9) of the NOUVELLE VAGUE album "Couleurs sur Paris" which was released 15 November. The album is not available on iTunes in the US. Nouvelle Vague is a French music collective that transposes classic songs and obscure new wave material, giving it a decidedly modern sound. Among the members of the collective are: Camille Dalmais, Phoebe Killdeer, Mélanie Pain, Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux.


Stella Mozgawa, the best drummer in LA

Soko got together with Stella Mozgawa (of Warpaint) to record a cover of "We've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two" from the musical OLIVER. Soko and Stella called themselves MachiNette. The track is no longer available on Soundcloud.
